Es zerlegt dabei das Produkt in Basis-, Standard- und Begeisterungseigenschaften. Basiseigenschaften, z.B. die Bremsen eines PKW, m\u00fcssen ein Mindestniveau aufweisen, damit die Kundenzufriedenheit nicht rapide absinkt. Eine st\u00e4rkere Ausgestaltung der Eigenschaft \u00fcber das Mindestniveau hinaus f\u00fchrt nur zu geringf\u00fcgigen Steigerungen der Kundenzufriedenheit. Bei Standardeigenschaften, z.B. die PS eines PKW, gilt tendenziell &#8220;je mehr, desto kontinuierlich besser&#8221;. Begeisterungseigenschaften, die der Kunde selber oftmals nicht direkt artikulieren kann, steigern die Kundenzufriedenheit \u00fcberproportional.    auch     Dieses Konzept unterst\u00fctzt mit Hilfe des Target Costing die kundengerechte Gestaltung von Produkten und so die Kundenzufriedenheit.
