Bei CAWI erfasst der Interviewte seine Eingaben per Weboberfl\u00e4che selbst. Es handelt sich also um eine Form von CASI. Verbreitete Formen sind Online Kundenbefragungen &#8211; z.B. an Selbstbedienungsterminals direkt am Point of Sale POS. Gerne wird CAWI auch zur Durchf\u00fchrung von Onlinepersonalauswahl und Personaldiagnose, im Sinne von &#8220;Online ACs&#8221; (Assessment Center) genutzt.    auch     Umfrage \u00fcber das Internet (auf einer eingerichteten Homepage) oder \u00fcber eine E-Mail. Der Empf\u00e4nger erh\u00e4lt einen Fragekatalog, den er entweder direkt auf der Homepage oder per Fragebogen beantworten kann. F\u00fcr die interviewende Unternehmung entstehen keinerlei Personalkosten. Allerdings kann die R\u00fccklaufquote gering sein.
